Matches to start at 6 o’clock in the evening at the latest. For the later matches efforts should be made to start earlier so that they can be completed in the available light.

This is a two wood triples competition over 18 ends, no trial ends, scoring only one on the first two ends. In the event of bad weather matches will be treated as completed so long as ten ends have been bowled and the match has been terminated by mutual consent of the skips.
Abandoned matches less than ten ends will score one point each team. Otherwise it will be two points for a win, one for a draw. Positions will be calculated by points scored, in the event of a tie by shot difference, then by ends won. If that all results in a tie the Competition Secretary will judge which has been the team to have best displayed the Mackie spirit.

Teams have up to seven members and team leaders will be responsible for selection for each game. Team leaders should bear in mind that the object of the competition is that everyone should get a go so theoretically each player should have two or three games subject to availability.

Score cards assigning rinks will be available in the clubhouse competitions box. Completed score cards to be signed by both teams and handed to the Competitions Secretary or left in the competitions box.
